Ickys :(
Both the girls have sinus infections :(. It is no fun when you're 27 or almost 3 and blowing your nose, but it's even worse when you're 3 1/2 months old and can't even fit a bulb syringe/nasal aspirator into your nostrils! No fun, no fun at all! Since nothing I was trying to do to help them more naturally was working, we went to the dr today and she perscribed some ammoxocillin for the girls. Hopefully the antibiotics will work for them, and quickly too. Glad it really isn't affecting moods too much anymore either. Happy babies who are sick are easier to deal with than grumpy babies who are sick! Well, off to the pharmacy to get the meds...
Seriously, this time I'm really going to try to stick to this! Well, at least weekly. I figured that since all of our family is at least 5 hours away (well, most of the time) that we should try to post pictures/stories/quips that we encounter regularly, especially with the help of our two wonderful, albeit crazy, children! So here's to actually following through for once! :) Love you all!

Matt and Gretchen HechtWe're a family of 4 living in Arizona, 5 hours away from the closest family member. We have 2 little girls, one who is almost 3 and the other was born in June. They keep us busy, both laughing and doing things. Matt loves golf, theatre, indie movies, and working at the church. Gretchen enjoys scrapbooking, having fun with the girls, meeting other moms, and being able to work from home with the girls. Mackenzie (the 3 year old) is very independent, but also craves attention of anyone and everyone around her. She is willing to make a friend with anyone from someone at a park to the person next to her in the grocery store. Madison is a few months old but is already growing into her own person. She is a very laid back baby, smiling and giggling all the time. She is into her hands and feet right now and loves to kick anything :). Basically we are a family who loves life and laughing and being together.
